Jennifer Lawrence is up there. Even for roles that should go to actresses at least ten years younger. For actors, Robert Pattinson has to one of the most overused.
For me, it's Tom Holland, Noah Centineo, Jacob Elordi, Zendaya, Scarlett Johansson, Millie Bobby Brown, Dylan O'brien and Jacob Tremblay. Been seeing people cast them on roles that doesn't even fit them, like, they can't just play everyone. On Zendaya's case, just because she plays the MCU version of "Mary Jane Watson", doesn't mean she has to play literally every red haired white female characters ever (like Candace Flynn and Wendy Corduroy), and it also doesn't mean she should play every emo/bad girl type character too (like Vanessa Doofenshmirtz on one of the older Phineas and Ferb stories). And for Tom's case, he's been casted as main characters and sometimes even those geeky kid type character roles on some stories. And also, most of the Riverdale and Sabrina cast were overcasted on some stories, with them being suggested on roles that didn't even fit them, and heck, there's even some stories that has all Riverdale and Sabrina cast on the character roles, like there's no other actors or something.
Also, The Rock seems to be overcasted as muscleheads / wrestler type characters and some bald muscular characters like God of War's Kratos and Tekken's Marduk. And then Amber Heard being casted as every blonde female ever (no, this has nothing to do with the Johnny Depp case, as it's not related to the topic and i don't want this to turn into a sensitive discussion). Similarly, Blake Lively is also being casted as every blonde female characters as well.
And sometimes i see Gal Gadot being casted as middle eastern characters or other strong female characters on some fancasts.
Tom Cruise should be on the list, people act like he can play every main character, even Ryu from Street Fighter, who is japanese (while Tom Cruise ain't japanese, and not an asian either).
