myCast keeps crashing

That's right. myCast.io keeps loading too long and eventually says that it's down for a minute or two. Then when you get it back, you can't see the notifications, nothing loads, and then it goes to application error. If this is happening to anyone, please reply.

It is happening to me as a moderator. Everytime i try to look at the moderator page to monitor new users and recently uploaded photos, it keeps crashing by redirecting me to a page that says "myCast is under maintenance" or even a white page that says "We're sorry, but something went wrong".

That would be Billy Swift (whom I haven't seen on here in many years.) but there other admins are robbywhite, leecunningham, and parisvega whom I think this issue should be addressed to.

We're making even more upgrades to our servers to try and help with all the traffic. Thanks for letting us know. We're gonna keep upgrading and investigating until we fix this.

Nah it's just a cycle that keeps repeating itself unfortunately. It was working incredibly well just last night but now it's gone back to slowing down and crashing. I hope they eventually find a permanent solution cause these temporary fixes just aren't lasting 💀 😭

Maybe all of these crashing are because of the many changes the websites had during the last months.

Thanks for letting us all know about the updates and the heads up about the ads with our temporary break from them.

Besides maintaining the website, Paris Vega (the admin) is likely busy with real world activities, so maybe when he is not busy we will be getting some updates about what is going on behind the recent updates.

This is frustrating with the loading! Why can't the site have any substitutes since Paris Vega is busy!?

I have not seen the other two admins (Lee Cunningham and Robby White) on here since at least the early part of 2023, but they are two other admins on here.

I had the perfect story planned and the website decided to go on the fritz. Adding roles was taking forever!

I know, and I am starting to have a feeling that there are some glitches to the newly installed server related to Daylight Savings Time starting up again in the United States or even the tin foil hat theory that the influx of traffic that required the server upgrade is mainly bot traffic that has also increased.

I am not even sure what is going on as I feel like it may be that those bots haven also advantage of the server upgrades. And if the admins are even still on here, I think they should implement some firewall rules to block the attackers out of a foreign country's ISP (which I am theorizing too.) with these likely a brute force attacks on the site.

I keep trying to sort my fancast in the order I want, but it takes too long and when I reload none of the changes are saved. Please fix this, I want to be able to sort my fancasts without having loading issues every single time.

I just got the message from ParisVega, he said that "We're continuing to work on it. Hopefully things have improved the past week. But over the next months it definitely will."

Most likely it will be either in May or in the Summer.

Trying to upload a photo, it gives a damn error

Everytime I upload a new page, an error occurred.

Tried to add a photo to an actor's page, but when I uploaded it, it just put a blank image instead.

Like the others members when I try to add image it say something wrong

I am unable to post pictures for the talents.

I was prepared to post a story, but an error appeared and I got 3 blank stories. This is embarrassing!

We're sorry, but something went wrong. I tried to add the story but it keep saying "We're sorry, but something went wrong."

Damn it how many add stories and upload photos is error website updated can fixes too soon!!

I feel like there's some maintenance on the work.

But idk, they didn't tell us (such as giving a reminder like the "Site Under Maintenance" thing years ago), and the fact that from the WHOIS look up, the site's domain will last until the end of May this year.

I'm also experiencing this problem, and it needs fixed.

I swear if this entire website doesn't get fixed & repaired entirely as well as wiping all flaws (including restoring the casting confirm button) I'm done.

Great news everybody, the problem appears to have been fixed!!

Not all are fixed. The blank stories still remain.

Yeah, we still need to find a way to delete those

I just wish those guys do something about them, otherwise we have the site restarted!

I think that the solution could be for myCast to allow users to delete stories directly from the "My Stories" page.

First story after the MyCast glitch

It’s still happening to me ever since the old version updated to this version, Who ever made this version has to fix it. Every time I try to add my own suggestion, It kept taking to me to my dashboard and not loading properly. If this doesn’t get fixed for next 5 days, I’m signing off!!!
