Total story number

I know it doesn't really matter but can it be changed so that my total stories contributed does not include the deleted stories?

I'm pretty sure that's just a glitch that has yet to be fixed.

Thought it might, hope it gets fixed soon, it makes me feel weird whenever I have to delete something and it doesn't reduce my overall number.
